My roommate, you know the one, got engaged after knowing him, you know the one, for quite a few years, but dating for about 6 months.
ReplyDeleteIn 1986, my parents dated for 18 days before getting engaged, and had a 6-month engagement. Probably a bit out of date for the purposes of your question, anyway...
ReplyDeleteMy sister is engaged. She dated her fiance 5 months before they got engaged, and they'll have a 5-month engagement.
My roommate married my FHE brother...except I can't remember how long their relationship was...I'd say like 7 months with a 3-month engagement.
Those are the only engaged people I know. If I suddenly gain insight into other couples, I won't hesitate to let you know!
